If you've sprained your ankle, you know what severe pain is.
In our state-of-the-art facilities, Broward Health’s rehabilitation and physical therapy specialists provide a team approach for continuous progress. We craft a personalized approach to recovery and healing for every patient - whether you are suffering from movement disorders, injuries, or chronic diseases - to help our patients work towards their wellness goals.
Our cardiac rehabilitation is a medically supervised program of exercise, education, counseling, and training that helps patients with heart disease achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. And our pulmonary rehabilitation specialists offer a medically supervised program for those with chronic lung diseases.
Each rehabilitation treatment plan begins with an assessment by a licensed therapist to understand the patient's health history, functional abilities, and expectations. We then establish an individualized treatment program to achieve individual goals and objectives. Our team continuously assesses progress, making treatment modifications based on those findings. In addition, the rehabilitation team teaches patients and families how to stay healthy, promoting independent living and preventing re-injury.
